Difficult Days Through the Eyes of a Runner.

Today was one of those days you know Satan was sitting there laughing saying “and what are you going to do about this situation.”

It started out very well with biscuits and seeing my boyfriend and then heading to Zumba at the YMCA.

Little did I know that is not what God had in mind. My tire popped on the way to Zumba, the lug-nut wrench was not the right size, the tire couldn’t be patched, I sliced my finger open cutting zucchini for dinner but I refused to get stitches (despite that probably that being a better option to the bulky bandage I have on now), spilled the chicken marinade juice all over me right before my run, I puked on my run, my blackberry buttercream icing for my blackberry coconut cream cupcakes didn’t turn out right, and I have a headache.

However, God was able to use this day as a good one to spend with my dad, see my brothers, contemplate beautiful architecture, and experiment.

“Enjoy prosperity while you can, but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. Remember that nothing is certain in this life.” Ecclesiastes 7:14

God still is good despite bad days!
